A New Year and Events DevelopingWhere did January go? Already February and ALARA is preparing for a busy year. ALARA 2024 Australasian ConferenceALARA is preparing for a conference with UTS in Sydney Australia on 7 & 8 November 2024. We have included a 'Save the Date' announcement in the ALARA Event Calendar. UTS is located close to the Sydney CBD, and there are plenty of accommodation options as well as good public transport connections. We will be soon inviting people to submit abstracts for keynote presentations, papers, workshops, artistic displays, posters and other contributions. Contributions may be made online as well as in-person at the venue. The theme is related to ‘Interdisciplinary AR and AL’, with more information to come. WebinarLeading up to the conference we plan to conduct several webinars. The first will be on 1 March from 1pm to 2pm Melbourne/Sydney time via Zoom. Registrations are now open. Please see the event information and register for this interesting discussion event. Publication ReviewersIt is that time of year when we contact those people who have indicated they can review papers submitted to ALARA for publication. We have contacted the reviewers to ascertain when during the year they will be available for this important work. If you are registered with ALAR Journal as a reviewer, please contact us about your availability. If you wish to add your name to the list of reviewers, please do register, and then email us. Networking of ALARA SupportersWe are planning further meetings of ALARA supporters. If you wish to attend a meeting, please email ALARA. Action Learning / Action Research CalendarAs indicated above, the ALARA Event Calendar on the ALARA website is beginning to contain events of interest to the AL/AR communities.
