As you may be aware, ALARA's Annual General Meeting commenced last Tuesday with the electronic AGM via the ALARA website (you must log in to open this page). This part of the AGM ends at Midday, Tuesday 7 November 2023 (Australian Eastern Daylight Time). The Zoom meeting will be at 10.00 am on Wednesday 8 November 2023 (again, Australian Eastern Daylight Time).

I encourage all members to log in and vote at the AGM, or attend the Zoom meeting.

New Issue of Action Learning and Action Research Journal

The latest issue of the Journal will be released this week, so please do look for it. This issue includes our first presentations of Thesis Research Notes and a Thoughlet, in addition to three excellent papers.

2023 U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award

ALARA's Vice-President International, Prof Emmanuel Tetteh, recently received the 2023 U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award (PVSA) for his dedication to action-oriented service learning activities, voluntary community-based services, civic engagement activities, and faith-based initiatives in keeping with ALARA’s mission, vision, and values. The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award represents the highest level of the PVSA, given to individuals who contribute more than 4,000 hours of service in their lifetime. Please join me in congratulating Emmanuel for this remarkable achievement.
