Notice of 2021 Annual General Meeting and Call for Nominations

Dear Member

The 2021 Annual General Meeting of Action Learning, Action Research Association Ltd will be conducted as both an electronic meeting and a Zoom meeting. Details and timing are stated below. Vacancies exist on the Board and Committees Group, and members are invited to nominate using the appropriate nomination form (see below).
Note: The Board has decided to add two positions: Indigenous AL / AR Coordinator and Volunteers Co-ordinator to the Committees Group, and nominations are also invited for these positions.

The electronic section of the meeting will commence at 12.01 am on Wednesday 3 November and conclude at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Wednesday 17 November 2021. The Zoom (video conference) meeting will commence at 9.00 pm on Wednesday 17 November 2021. (All times listed are Australian Eastern Summer Time (Sydney or Melbourne) - please check the relevant time for your location, e.g., timeanddate.com.)

If attending the Zoom meeting, financial members must register by 9.00 am on Wednesday 17 November 2021. To register your intention to participate in this meeting, please advise the Secretary of the email you will be using for the meeting. Registered Financial Members will be sent an email at about 8.55 pm on Wednesday 17 November 2021, which will include a link (all times listed are Australian Eastern Summer Time). Clicking on the link will mean the Member will need to accept the download and installation of the appropriate Zoom software that will allow the member to join the meeting. There is no cost to join the meeting.

  • Tuesday 12 October 2021:   Formal announcement of AGM, including agenda and list of nominees for vacant positions, and invitation to nominate proxy
  • 9.00 am Tuesday 2 November 2021:   Close of lodgement of proxies
  • 12.01 am Wednesday 3 November 2021:   Commencement of electronic AGM
  • 9.00 am Wednesday 17 November 2021:   Close of registration for joining video conference AGM
