Notice of 2020 Annual General Meeting and Call for Nominations

The 2020 Annual General Meeting of Action Learning, Action Research Association Ltd will be conducted as both an electronic meeting and a Zoom meeting. Details and timing are stated below. Vacancies exist on the Board and Committees Group, and members are invited to nominate using the appropriate nomination form.
Note: The Board has decided to add a position of Research Coordinator to the Committees Group and nominations are also invited for this position.

The electronic section of the meeting will commence at 12.01 am on Thursday 6 November and conclude at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Thursday 19 November 2020. The Zoom (video conference) meeting will commence at 9.00 pm on Thursday 19 November 2020. (All times listed are Australian Eastern Summer Time (Sydney or Melbourne) - please check the relevant time for your location, e.g., timeanddate.com.)

If attending the Zoom meeting, financial members must register by 9.00 am on Thursday 19 November 2020. To register your intention to participate in this meeting, please advise the Secretary of the email you will be using for the meeting. Registered Financial Members will be sent an email at about 8.55 pm on Thursday 19 November 2020, which will include a link (all times listed are Australian Eastern Summer Time). Clicking on the link will mean the Member will need to accept the download and installation of the appropriate Zoom software that will allow the member to join the meeting. There is no cost to join the meeting.

  • 9.00 am Tuesday 13 October 2020:   Close of nominations.
  • Thursday 15 October 2020:   Formal announcement of AGM, including agenda and list of nominees for vacant positions, and invitation to nominate proxy
  • 9.00 am Tuesday 3 November 2020:   Close of lodgement of proxies
  • 12.01 am Friday 6 November 2020:   Commencement of electronic AGM
  • 9.00 am Thursday 19 November 2020:   Close of registration for joining video conference AGM
  • 12:00 pm (Noon) Thursday 19 November 2020:   Close of electronic AGM
  • 9.00 pm Thursday 19 November 2020:   Video conference AGM (via Zoom)
  • Sunday 22 November 2020:   Minutes of AGM available
