Hello. I have news of another initiative that I hope members will find valuable and will agree to assist.

The broad objectives of ALARA's Editorial Board, formed last year, include improving the quality, standard and professional recognition of ALARA publications, and increasing the range and quality of ALARA publications and the range and quality of action learning and action research publications generally.

Editorial Board member, Dr Susan Goff (former President of ALARA and former Managing Editor), has begun a research of publications publishing papers that discuss action research methodology. The aim of this research is to discover:

  • What has been done / where have we been / who has funded the work or helped us get to where we are now?

  • Where is the world evolving and what parts of that evolution will action research influence / help?

  •

The research involves analysing publications that have articles about action research methodology. Susan is seeking assistance with the identification and analysis of those publications. If you would like to assist Susan in her research, please contact ALARA at admin [at] alarassociation.org.
