Tertiary Education Community

Action Learning, Action Research Association Ltd (ALARA) has created an online LinkedIn discussion group for students and educators, interested in action learning, action research and related approaches, to connect and learn with each other. There are opportunities for members to post new discussion topics, ask questions of other members, or join in on existing online conversations. Educators

Are you running a unit or subject about participatory learning and research methods in an educational institution? Why not invite the students and peers of that unit/subject to join in on the group discussions. A flyer has been created for you with some information about ALARA, the online LinkedIn community and how you can invite the students/colleagues you work with, to join in on the online discussions. To access a copy, please click here. Previously, ALARA has partnered with Phil Crane and the students at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) about Participatory Action Research (PAR). The students' questions produced increased activity and reflection in the online group.

Students

Are you a student, enrolled in a learning program about collaborative and participatory approaches to learning and research?
