Hello ALARA Member Further to the announcement by ALARA's Secretary's about the Annual General Meeting (see below), I wanted to emphasise the need for nominations for the positions on the Board and Committees Group. Both the Secretary and Treasurer are not re-nominating, as their work conditions have changed. We thank both Kavita and Natalie for their support and efforts over the last 2-3 years. In addition, I have been in the President's role for 16 years, and I am looking for someone to take over from me who will further develop and grow ALARA's services and reach. Please consider nominating for a Board role or a Co-ordinator's role. Please remember, ALARA needs volunteers to provide its services to members and the community. Dear ALARA Member The 2026 Annual General Meeting of Action Learning, Action Research Association Ltd will be conducted as both an electronic meeting and a face-to-face meeting. You are invited to nominate for vacant positions on the Board and Committees Group. Information about these positions are provided below. The face-to-face meeting will be held on 29 September and will also be available for video conference (via Zoom) if members register to attend via Zoom. Details and timing are stated below. Vacancies exist on the Board and Committees Group, and members are invited to nominate using the appropriate nomination form (see below). Times are Australian Eastern Standard Time. Please check the relevant time for your location, e.g., timeanddate.com. The electronic section of the meeting will commence at 12.01 am on Sunday 13 September and conclude at 12:00 pm (Noon) on Monday 28 September 2026. The face-to-face meeting will be held at the ALARA 2026 Conference in Melbourne on Tuesday 29 September 2026 at 5:15 pm. A Zoom (video conference) link will be made available if members who are not at the Conference request that link. If requesting the Zoom link, financial members must register by 9.00 am on Monday 28 September 2026. To register your intention to participate in this meeting, please advise the Secretary of the email you will be using for the meeting. Registered Financial Members will be sent an email in the evening of Monday 28 September 2026, which will include a Zoom link. Clicking on the link will mean the Member will need to accept the download and installation of the appropriate Zoom software that will allow the member to join the meeting.
