Invitation to Yoland Wadsworth Books LaunchMembers of ALARA who may be interested, are warmly invited to a one-day event (10:00am to 3:00pm) in Melbourne on Wednesday 22 April 2026 for a sequence of presentations and table conversations about the past five decades of Yoland Wadsworth's (and by extension, much of all our) work. The day will be organised around the differing eras that produced her three never-out-of-print best-selling books: Do It Yourself Social Research, Everyday Evaluation on the Run, and Human Inquiry for Living Systems: Building in Research and Evaluation for Life. It will culminate in the global launch of new editions of all the books as a 2026 box set trilogy by Routledge London. Lunch provided. If you would like to receive an Invitation with details, please email living.systems.research@gmail.com. ALARA Website and Email RelocationALARA recently became aware that its Internet Service Provider (ISP) that hosts its website and email accounts was sold to a conglomerate in the USA, and the service provided had dramatically reduced. The ALARA Board decided to transfer the website and email accounts to another provider (located in Australia), which occured late last week. This transfer delayed the sending of this e-Newsletter, and may have caused the loss of any emails to ALARA during Thursday to Saturday. If you did email ALARA in this period, please contact ALARA (or resend the email). Action Learning / Action Research CalendarPlease send any news for us to add to the AL / AR calendar of events so that all can see what is happening in the AL/AR communities. If you have any items, please contact ALARA. Colin Bradley |
