The latest issue of the ALAR Journal is now published. This issue is a special one edited by Prof Akihiro Ogawa with most authors being doctoral students / graduates at University of Melbourne. Members can access individual articles on the ALARj site or the entire issue via the Latest Journal Issues page. (You will need to log in to access these pages.)

11th Action Learning Action Research and 15th Participatory Action Research World Congress

The World Congress wrapped up in Manila at the beginning of October, with 90 people attending one or more sessions. About half of that number became members of ALARA in the process, so we welcome those new members. The Organising Committee thanks the presenters and participants, and also those who assisted during the six days.

Discussions are already underway to secure a site, probably in Melbourne, Australia, for the 2026 ALARA Conference. More news to come...

Action Research Community of Practice

One of the outcomes of the World Congress was the desire to support communities of practice in each of Auckland, Sydney and Manila. Vice-President John Molineux and Lesley Ferkins have arranged a meeting of the Auckland CoP on Wednesday, November 12 at 1.00 pm in New Zealand, 11.00 am in Eastern Australia Summer Time (10.00 am in Queensland, 10.30 am in South Australia and 8.00 am in Western Australia), Midnight in London, and 7.00 pm Tuesday November 11th in Eastern USA.
