11th Action Learning Action Research and 15th Participatory Action Research World CongressPutting Global Collaboration at the Heart of Action Research The programs for the three locations of the World Congress are being finalised, with Auckland's program on the website, and those for Sydney and Manila expected during this week. Registrations continue, with prices from $60 per day for online attendance, and for two days on-site attendance in Manila, $260, Auckland $395, and Sydney $425 (concessions and single day registration also available). ALARA Future Directions DiscussionALARA's Board met early this month to discuss ALARA's future directions and concluded that time and energy must be spent on increasing the AL / AR communities' knowledge of ALARA's existence, purpose and activities. Action Learning / Action Research CalendarThe AL / AR calendar of events has many entries of events over the coming twelve months. Please send any news for us to add to the Calendar so that all can see what is happening in the AL/AR communities. If you have any items, please contact ALARA. ALARA Annual General MeetingAs indicated in separate emails, ALARA's Annual General Meeting will be held on Day 1 of the Sydney stage of the World Congress (you will need to log into the ALARA site to read about the AGM). ALARA is a volunteer-run organisation and the Board welcomes any offers of assistance. Note: you do not have to be a Co-ordinator. ALARA needs people who can offer an hour a month, an hour a day, or anything between. Colin Bradley |
