The International Association for Management Development in Dynamic Societies has rescheduled the International Management Teachers Academy to June 2021 in beautiful Bled, Slovenia. Please see here for more information.

CEEMEN / Emerald Case Writing Competition

The 2021 CEEMAN / Emerald Case Writing Competition is open, with submissions due by 21 March 2021 to obtain feedback, and final submissions due on 16 May 2021. See here see here for more information.

EURAM 2021 Conference - Reshaping capitalism for a sustainable world

The 2021 conference of EURAM (European Academy of Management) was planned to be held in Montreal Canada but has been organised as an online event on 16-18 June 2021. More information is available here.

WERA 2020+1 Focal Meeting

The World Education Research Association (WERA) invites submissions for papers, symposia, and posters for the WERA Focal Meeting to be held from 7-9 July 2021 at Universidad de Santiago de Compostela, Spain. The final deadline to submit has been extended to 15 January 2021; 23:59 Central European Time. More information is available here.

WERA Mentoring Programme

The WERA Doctoral and Early Career Scholars Network (DEC) provides doctoral and early career scholars with an opportunity to network with and meet each other. As a part of this effort, WERA aims to develop an innovative, online-based Mentorship Programme, that links senior scholars and postdoctoral educational researchers who share a common research interest. WERA International Research Network

WERA is calling for proposals to establish an International Research Network (IRN). The purpose of a WERA-IRN is to advance education research worldwide on specific scholarly topics. An IRN is a collaborative group of scholars working on a specific research topic of education research world-wide using primarily virtual communication or other channels.

WERA-IRN proposals must be submitted via the following platform: Submission: International Research Network (IRN) Proposal by 1 February 2021.

World Social Forum

The World Social Forum (WSF) is a forum dedicated to discussion and proposal of alternatives for anti-globalization and altermundo activists working towards the construction of a better world - rooted in the belief that "Another world is possible!".

Towards WSF 2021

The International Council of the World Social Forum plans to hold the next edition of the World Social Forum, basically virtual, in the week of January 25, 2021. It invites social movements and organizations that fight under the slogan “Another world is possible” (urgent and necessary), to build together this next edition of the WSF, seeking to transform it into a participatory, creative event and, above all, capable of enabling global and simultaneous political articulations and actions, capable of coping with the current overlapping crises of capitalism, wide open and exacerbated by the global pandemic. Publications' Special Issues

The International Journal of Managing Projects in Business is published by Emerald. It is a Quartile 1 journal in Scimagio with a H Index of 29, an impact factor 1.989 and Scopus CiteScore of 3.9. It is the third ranked journal in project management.

The Journal is inviting, for a special issue, for papers using action research including its variants such as engaged scholarship, action design research, collaborative research, participatory action research, design science research, with submissions due in September 2021. A short proposal is required by April 2021.

Guest Editors are Per Svejvig, Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark, Shankar Sankaran, University of Technology Sydney, Australia and Erik Lindhult, Mälardalen University, Eskilstuna, Sweden.
