Conference Program

The Conference will have three sessions each day, with Sunday starting later and Wednesday finishing earlier (two sessions each of these days). The times for the three sessions will approximately be 9.00 am to Midday, 2.00 to 5.00 pm and 6.30 to 8.45 pm (Australian Eastern Daylight Time).

Individual Virtual Registration

You wish to attend all or most sessions of the conference via a virtual connection. You are responsible for the computer and video display equipment and for the internet connection that will allow satisfactory communication for the virtual connection.
This registration costs AUD $95.00, or if you are an ALARA or BALT Member, AUD $75.00.

You may prefer to attend just one or two sessions. You can purchase a registration for each session. You are responsible for the computer and video display equipment and for the internet connection that will allow satisfactory communication for the virtual connection. This registration costs AUD $30.00 per session.

This form of registration will be made available once a programme schedule is available. An early form of that schedule should be available late August or early September.

Group Virtual Registration

You and several others wish to attend one or more sessions of the conference via a virtual connection. There is no maximum number to the size of the group, but you will need to complete the details of every person in the group. A maximum of five people can be registered per registration form, but you can complete more than one registration form for the group, referencing the forms with the same group name.

You are responsible for the computer and video display equipment and for the internet connection that will allow satisfactory communication for the virtual connection. You are also responsible for the size of the image of the connection (computer screen, video screen or projection) so that your group can adequately see the presentations.

Group registration for the whole conference costs AUD $195.00 or costs AUD $100.00 per single session.

Registration for Attendance at the Launceston Location for the Conference

You wish to attend all or most sessions of the face-face conference component at the Launceston location. The face-to-face conference component will operate as a major satellite of the virtual conference. Presentations from participants in Launceston will usually be conducted in this satellite location. The booked location for this satellite is the Peppers Silo Hotel. Due to social distancing limitations and costing, both of which are unknown in the current fluid circumstances associated with the lock downs for COVID-19, the actual venue may change.

Registration Payment

Concession registration rate of AUD $395. To qualify for the Concession registration rate, you must provide information that indicates that you qualify in one or more of the following categories.

  • Current resident in a Developing or Emerging Country (average income below USD $12,536 p.a., as described by the World Bank's list of countries
  • Retired
  • Full-time student
  • Earning below AUD $25,000 p.a.
  • Life Member of ALARA
