Organizational and Affiliate Membership

Action Learning, Action Research Association Ltd (ALARA) invites organizations to join our network. The organization pays an annual fee which gives its members access to ALARA's website so that Action Learning and Action Research capabilities are developed informally through interactions with members, and more formally through participation in our workshops, conferences, publications and management. The nominated representative of the organization receives all of the benefits of an individual member.

Organizational membership of ALARA also enables members of the organization to apply for Individual membership for a Reduced Fee, as well as providing a number of benefits to the organization. Organizations interested in Organizational Membership should complete the organization application form and contact ALARA by emailing admin [at] alarassociation.org.

ALARA encourages affiliate relationships with organizations interested in Action Learning and Action Research. Affiliate relationships entitle organizations to market their activities on our website and to open up sustained and strategic dialogue with other affiliate status organizations in the interests of Action Learning and Action Research within a specific domain of activity. Affiliate organizations with substantially similar objectives to ALARA may wish to consider reciprocal membership, eliminating the respective membership fees, while gaining all benefits of Organizational membership.

ALARA's affiliate members include the Global University for Lifelong Learning, which has supported the work of national and international development agencies since 2007. Find out more about GULL here.

ALARA's organizational members include Australian Institute of Business (AIB), which has an Agile Master of Business Administration, and the Global Centre for Work-Applied Learning (GCWAL).
